Jaime is the founder of Schmidt’s Naturals and is known for modernizing natural personal care products, bringing them to the mainstream market. Under her leadership, Schmidt’s grew from her kitchen into a household name, lining the shelves of major retailers across 30 countries. In 2017, Schmidt’s was acquired by CPG giant Unilever.

Jaime also cofounded BFF, a brand that provides access and education in emerging tech for underrepresented groups. BFF was acquired by the media company Boss Beauties.

Jaime is a two-time honoree in Goldman Sachs' 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs and has been recognized by Inc.’s Female Founders 100 and Ernst & Young's Pacific Northwest Entrepreneur of the Year.

Investor

Jaime is an investor and co-owner of Color Capital, a fund that invests in consumer brands and emerging technologies. Color Capital was founded and is operated by Jaime and her husband Chris Cantino, with no partners or outside capital. Their portfolio includes consumer goods, web3, marketplaces, and social commerce.

Jaime is author of the book Supermaker: Crafting Business on Your Own Terms, which tells the story of how she started out making natural products in her kitchen, and in a short time, grew and sold her business in a nine-figure acquisition. Through unfiltered storytelling and instructive takeaways, Supermaker shares Jaime's secrets to financial success, marketing, operations, sales growth, product development, PR, partnerships, and customer engagement.

The progress just needs to outweigh the setbacks.

PICKLEBALLER

After discovering pickleball in 2022, Jaime plays almost daily. She’s become an ambassador of the sport, devoting much of her time to developing her skills and introducing pickleball to others. Jaime is also an investor in Major League Pickleball (MLP) and the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA), and she is part owner of the Los Angeles Mad Drops team.
